"There's always 'Battlemaster.'" Thrak suggested as he cocked his head, grunting in thought. "Honestly, Stick, I've never thought about it. Maybe it's time to test your imagination."
Eric took a step back and folded his arms, scrutinizing the krogan and his gear. One finger tapped on an arm for nearly a half minute.
"...Thor..."
Eric uncrossed his arms, using the same finger to help explain. "Badass from ancient human mythology. The god of Thunder. Also swung a mean hammer. Was one of the gods of these people called Vikings. They loved ta drink n' fight 'bout as much as krogan. Krogan could still whip 'em in a fight but they'd only love it. They just die and be carried up to Valhalla in the arms of warrior women where they end up drinkin' n' fightin' some more..."
The N7 finished making his case and awaited the verdict, flashing a grin.
"So... do I get ta keep m'teeth?"

"Thank you," she said, noting the subtle shift of his body and forcing herself to relax her posture. "And my condolences on you losing yours. It's bad enough to lose your family, but when it's brought down from within..."
She shook her head.
"When you lose your family to an outsider, it's easy, you can hate that person all you want," she said. "But when it's your own mother who's responsible? That's something else entirely."
Over two hundred years...and it still hurts.
"We all have parts of ourselves that we prefer not to reveal--at least, not until we can trust that person," she said. "You took that from me. If you want to tell your life story to everyone you meet, fine, that's your choice. But I don't, so please respect my privacy."

"Certainly though from what I said Maelstrom isn't going to question you about what I said he'll wait for you to say and outside you me and the Shadow Broker no one knows your past," Izahm says still alert but he to takes a more relaxed posture, "I only know the things I do because of my days as a reporter on Ilium and Thessia. People honestly have no idea how far voices travel. Anyways I'll keep what I know to myself and let you tell the others the full tale. Again I am sorry for encroaching on your privacy I am still kinda new to this information broker job," he sighs then says, "And as for the collectors I don't hate them I just make sure they don't forget whenever I see one. The one thing I do hate is pirates, they cost me someone very close and that is all I will say about that. I will be heading back to the shuttle bay to practice," with that Izahm bows politely and leaves heading for the shuttle bay.
Once in the shuttle bay Izahm goes over to the Cerberus shuttle and opens it going inside. He then then closes and code locks the door. Once that is done he sits down lotus style and begins his ritual meditation/biotic rehabilitation gently pulsing his biotics at the most minimum levels letting his mind go almost totally blank. After five minutes of that he gets up and heads over to the armory ignoring Maelstrom training he takes out his custom Phalanx and begins using the armory's tools to inspect and clean the gun. 'Man do I wish I had my shuttle. I wouldn't have to do this out in the open,' he thinks wistfully as he meticulously inspects and cleans each part before reassembling it. He then takes out his massive Widow and begins the same process though he pays special attention to the custom thermal clip system and mass effect core in the stock. Replenishing the eezo container inside the core before checking the clip system ensuring that the mechanisms worked before once more assembling the gun.

"So... do I get ta keep m'teeth?" Lysander asked.
Thrak liked what he had heard so far, but he adopted a skeptical expression as he appraised Stick. "Depends. This isn't one of those prissy human 'superwarriors' or whatever you call them who goes around fighting in a skin-tight dancer's outfit, is it? 'Cause I've seen some of your people's vids." Shaking his head, he added, "Weird people."

Maelstrom was winded after fighting several more rounds in the simulator between Izahm's hasty departure and his reappearance in the armory. Grabbing his towel, he dried off as best he could without using a shower. Retreating to his small facilities on the Vengeance was the next thing he had in mind, but first he downed the rest of the water he brought from his shuttle.
Taking in Izahm working on his guns, Maelstrom attempted a stab at relating with the man. "I noticed your shuttle wasn't anywhere to be seen at that base. Nothing bad happened to it since the Valiant blew, I hope?"

Izahm looked up at the voice and pausing his work on the Widow addresses the man, "No nothing too serious. Took some danage escaping the Valiant but I got her fixed up. I just couldn't bring it with me for the infiltration op I was on previously. Its just waiting for my call," he then asks, "So why is the Vengeance Locked up tighter than usual?"

Maelstrom grinned at the question, though not exactly joyfully. "A person leading our kind of life knows that answering that question would defeat half the purpose of the increased security."
"Suffice it to say, though, I had an adventure, and, as we all do, I'm dealing with the repercussions."

Eric's brow shifted, taken a bit off guard by Thrak's comment. Then, in a flash of childhood remembrance, he realized what the krogan was saying.
"Oh, no. Hell, no! He's not that pretty boy character from the comics n' movies. The real Thor - the heavy, hairy, scraggy, scarred, leather and armor, horn-helmeted guy - too violent ta market ta kids. Pretty Boy Thor would be flattened and pressed in his outfit by the real deal."

"Indeed we do," Izahm then returns to reassembling his Widow snapping the rotating twin thermal clips into place before reinstalling the outer shell and latching it in place. He then threads the long barrel into place twisting it slightly to lock it into place. He then slides the scope on using the tools in the armory to screw it back on. "Speaking of repercussions is everyone okay with me being here? I mean I came aboard kinda suddenly," Izahm says taking a break from working on the Widow to stretch.

"I think most of your problems onboard are blue right now," Maelstrom said, being circumspect without acting so.
If he were to guess, most of the others were okay with things, but he knew better than to speak for others in such matters. He was the paranoid one of the group, and there just seemed too much coincidence surrounding the young man for Maelstrom to be at ease around him. An old, partially-remembered quote floated through his mind. Something to the effect of, "I believe in coincidence. Coincidence exists. But I do not TRUST coincidence."
"In any case," Maelstrom added, "it looks like we're about to be heading into Hell quite a lot soon, if the Broker figured we needed a ride like this for us to make it in and back out alive."

The krogan let out a long grunt of consideration, as he thought over Stock's suggestion. "It'll work," he agreed.
Closing up his tool box before pulling his hammer up to his side, though, he added, "As to keeping teeth, though, that's a moment-to-moment issue with a krogan battlemaster." He waited just a moment before letting out a long, low laugh, hoping the human could grasp basic krogan humor rather than taking offence.

Izahm sighs at the mention of Geneenh and says, "Yeah right now that may be an issue. I hope I resolved it but only time will tell." He then finishes assembling the Widow and after collapsing it stows it on his back over his right shoulder. "Speaking of time it's time I git caught up with a few others," he says, "Where's Fischer been awhile since I seen the Destroyer."

"Ah yeah I watched them install a couple of those too. Had to be overseer a couple of times," Izahm says then gets up nodding to Maelstrom, "Well enjoy your training. I'm off to find one of the Titan Twins." With that he begins casually searching the ship for Fischer wanting to talk with the man since the whole reason he was even here was because Fischer had trusted him.

Joe stood in one of the cargo bays, putting his Destroyer armor on and feeling very grateful to wear it once again.
There are two kinds of armor in the galaxy, Staff Sergeant Jackson’s voice rang in his memory. The Destroyer—and everything else.
His thoughts wandered towards Maelstrom and he wondered if they had more in common than he first thought—specifically in regards to their armor. He thought that the suit was becoming as much a part of his identity as it seemed to be with the biotic. True, his level of caution in approaching the galaxy hadn’t reached Maelstrom’s but he was starting to wonder where he ended and the suit began.
“It’s about time,” Bon said sulkily. “I was wondering if you were going to mothball me.”
Joe made a note to have someone—probably Geneenh—take a look at Bon’s coding. It may have been just a VI, but its personality emulators were getting a little too lifelike for him.
“Don’t worry,” he said. “That suit didn’t mean anything and I was thinking about you the whole time.”
“Uh huh, sure,” the VI said.
“How about a systems check?” he asked.

Geneenh made her way back to the training room, more eager than before to engage in some stress relief.
The room was now empty, so she stepped in and began by stretching out. Once her muscles were sufficiently loose she began a kata of her own design. It started out with the slow but powerful strikes favored by turians, forcing her to focus on her form before slowly incorporating the quick and precise attacks preferred by the drell, speeding it up until her moves were practically a blur.
Fifteen minutes later she stopped, breathing hard and sweating heavily but her mind clear.
Focus on what you can do, ignore what can’t, the voice of one of her old teachers echoed through her head.
Her mind focused and ready, she activated her first opponent: a hulking krogan wearing Blood Pack armor.

Izahm found Fischer putting his armor on. Not interested in interrupting the man he just stood by and watched. 'Most Destroyer armor has an onboard VI to help run the armor,' he thinks wistfully, 'Makes miss Azrael even more.'

"It'll work," Thrak agreed after mulling over Eric's justification and then gathered up his equipment. "As to keeping teeth, though, that's a moment-to-moment issue with a krogan battlemaster."
The krogan was quiet a second and then let out a long, low laugh. Eric joined in, his own laugh starting at almost the same low depth but then raised up to his normal register.
"Damn straight!" he said, throwing a thumb over his shoulder. "I'm gonna go check up on th' other kids. Comin' with?"

"We have a visitor," Bon said. "Someone else to take you away from me?"
Yeah, definitely going to have Geneenh take a look at him...
He turned around to see Izahm observing him.
"What's up, kid?" he asked.
