A full trailer has been released for Christopher Nolan's latest opus due out in November. From the looks of it, Earth is on it's last legs and all hope rests on a manned mission through a newly discovered wormhole in which Matthew McConaughey's character is pulled out of "retirement" to go on, leaving behind his children. Details are hush-hush but supposedly time travel and alternate dimensions will be involved as well since the inspiration for the story was the work of Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist. Personally, Hollywood tends to shun cerebral stuff. When it tries to tackle it, it more often than not screws up. The ultimate success of the film may all depend on how much clout Nolan has earned to be allowed to do his own thing. And whether or not the infamous Hollywood mindset has corrupted him. What do you guys think? Will this be another Gravity? Or another "failure to launch?"

I'd say he already earned it. When he was making "Dark Knight Rises", the studio wanted him to do it in 3D and he told them to piss off. As for the possibly cerebral nature of the film, if anyone is going to pull it off, it will be him. Looking back at his movies, they have all been a bit deeper than your usual popcorn movie.
