Ship Name: Shadow Star
Class: Transport/infiltration shuttle, base design is a UT-47A Kodiak but heavily modified
Owner: Izahm Kanokah
VI: Azrael(Custom built by Izahm and a Quarian friend. Azrael's coding is very complex but still wihtin regulation as Izahm is constantly upgrading his base code to be more intuitive.)
Dimensions:
Length: 40' feet 30' feet collapsed
Width: 18' feet
Height: 10' feet
Weapons: One single barreled heavy gun mounted in the center of the bay. It can be retracted flush to the end of the center row of seats.
Countermeasures: Matte black radar absorbing hull, baffled engines for extremely quiet engines, enhanced counter-cyberwarfare suites to assist Azrael, ECM emitters along the sides and top, more streamlined hull designed for stealth and improved aerodynamics increasing maneuvering without sacrificing stealth.
Layout:
The Shadow Star forward section houses Izahm's personal armory, and a small kitchen area for long duration trips and the cockpit. The armory is to the left and the kitchen to the right with a small walkway barely big enough to fit a fully armored person separates the armory and kitchen and allows access to the cockpit from the rear bay. The armory no longer holds two suits of armor so Izham had a workbench installed instead so now he can modify both his Omni-tool, weapons, and armor as he see's fit. The cockpit is unique in that it has no passenger seat instead it has a centered seat, wraparound holographic displays, and extra screens on the sides and front as the controls unlike modern holographic displays are two angled joysticks and more servers for his VI Azrael to free up more of the ships normal systems.
The back section houses the VI core, and Izahm's server banks. The previous server banks have been replaced by more efficient quantum data cores similar to the ones used to house VI personalities. Izahm has four of these along the wall where the previous server banks used to be however they are much smaller and take up less space. This allowed for lockers to be put above them for passengers to put their things when on long trips. The thrusters in the front are removed completely and a new system of ventral thrusters was added for landing purposes. A vectored thruster is mounted in the nose and can be fully retracted into the hull for stealth or high speed cruising. Two thrusters running a third of the ships length on the ventral hull help in high speed maneuvering and assist in landings. The previous rear thrusters are replaced by an entry hatch while two upsized side thrusters which also house a drive core in each give the Avrosh phenomenal speed, more so than a normal shuttle. These side thrusters also have two more smaller thrusters mounted slightly inboard of the main thrusters in the hull for added speed as the rear thrusters are no longer the vertical line thrusters but circular thrusters more solidly built into the hull and slightly larger than their vertical line predecessor. The thrusters being instead built into the hull rather than tacked on allow for safer high speed travel. The drive cores are now only a quarter smaller than an average Kodiak's but have slightly higher power output thanks to improvements made by his Quarian allies to the cores and the thrusters. The previous wings are replaced with permanent delta wings along the sides all the way to the cockpit for added maneuverability in atmosphere.
The refits to the rear bay opened up space to allow seating for passengers. Six can be held in three seats on the outer walls while ten more are held in a back to back central row mounted along the center of the bay five to each side. Racks between and underneath the seats can store any manner of weapon.
History:
The Niniah Avrosh started life as a stripped military Kodiak shuttle gifted to him by a grateful Captain and was steadily modified until Izahm took it into his Quarian friends and had them completely gut the original Kodiak chassis. He had them salvage everything they needed from it and then build him a new ship using the parts from the original Avrosh and other salvaged parts. The whole process took two months but every day was worth it as the new Niniah Avrosh is much better equipped for Izahm's fast and highly evasive style of flying. He's only flown two missions with the upgraded Avrosh but he hopes to put the ship through more missions.
After the destruction of the Valiant the Avrosh was not heavily damaged but damaged enough Izahm needed to repair it however his Quartian allies were not going to do it for free so he started trying to become an information broker to gain enough money. Realizing his potential the Shadow Broker approached him and he became a field agent for her. His ship was fixed and refitted by the Shadow Broker on Izahm's recommendation and now under a new name and new look it has been his mainstay mode of transportation for his missions as an agent of the Shadow Broker.
As a special note the space opened up by switching to quantum servers allows the seats to fold up and the entire crew bay to slide forward. Access to the servers is still there but movement is somewhat restricted. The wings also collapse to maintain atmospheric maneuverability and hull integrity.
