Similar to my non-canon Reaper post, I'm suggesting that people put forward their ideas for what other races we did not encounter in the game. After all, they've hinted that there's more out there than we know. What do they look like? What's their biology like? How is their culture and/or technology unique? Be as brief or in-depth as you want.

Weird – way back in ancient times (circa 1997), I came up with this sci-fi universe that was similar to Mass Effect in some regards (human hero the first to join an elite non-human police force, humanity the new kids on the block, an ancient evil in the background that everyone denies exists threatening to destroy everything).
Here’s one species from this universe that might be a welcome addition to the Mass Effect ‘verse: the tagadar. Averaging 6-7 ½ feet tall, they are dark-skinned, lean, elongated humanoids with equally elongated heads. It is believed that their appearance is what inspired the statues on Easter Island. They speak in a resonant monotone, not usually given to excitement or emotions although they do have them. They have an extremely regimented society based upon the ideals of order and timeliness. For the tagadar it is rude to be messy but it’s an outright crime to be late. They are also the last of the mega engineers – a station like the Citadel would not be beyond their capabilities. Their home solar system has been transformed over millennia into an immense synchronized clock complete with orbital ring habitats and transport systems that swing about and connect between planets, moons and asteroids at precise intervals. The ultimate testament to their preoccupation with keeping perfect time…

Well there was a race i would have liked to see in mass effect (Though mentioned we never saw them) and that was the Raloi. masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/RaloiWhen reapers hit they destroyed all satalites and stuff so it looked like they were pre space. Pretty interesting i thought.

Yeah. I would have loved to see more on the Raloi. They sounded like one of the game's more unique races.
