The GM wanted me to let people know about a new game idea he had and to see what kind of interest it would generate.
Universe: Dragon Age Start: Ostagar (after the battle in Origins)
You and your group awaken after the battle. All around you is the carnage of the battle against the darkspawn. The exception is a 30ft radius around you and the others, a perfect circle within which there are no corpses, no darkspawn poison, no signs of battle whatsoever. It is in every sense of the word, pristine.
You and your fellow survivors have all had a dream during this time, but it was more than a dream. It was potentially the most important thing you've ever experienced. The problem is that none of you can remember even the most minuscule detail.
So, there's his idea. Let ideas and enthusiasm flow. I look forward to seeing the response.

Two words: I'm. In.

I'd be interested, but I'm particularly concerned with my ability to keep up at all with two RP's if a good storm hits. I'd honestly be pretty mediocre with even just one on my plate if that happened.

If I was in before, I'm even more in now.

(whaps Joe's nose with a newspaper) Down, boy.
(rolls eyes) Boys, you'd think they'd never seen a stacked 6-foot redhead in a chain mail bikini before...

Sounds like great fun but I've never played Dragon Age and am not familiar with the universe. Everything I know about swords and sorcery come from the Conan and Lord of the Rings movies (including the Rankin/Bass cartoons). And Excalibur.
Though Naetilia is making me reconsider...
M'lady, be not so quick to dismiss male company for their natural inclinations. For I've yet to see a wench who could resist the attraction of a well-sculpted, muscular chest accented with MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE FURRY BRIEFS!!!

NEVER PLAYED DRAGON AGE?!?!?! Well, I'm sure there's a site that could give you the Cliffs Notes version. Given there's a Mass Effect wiki page, there's probably one for Dragon Age. I for one would like you to join, you're a good writer. But lose the haircut, it's totally lame.

Joe is right, there is a Dragon Age wiki.
And the haircut IS lame.

Okay, okay - I'll think it over... joining up for the game, that is...
Betcha that hair wouldn't be lame on George Clooney. And he was sporting an Elvis-do complete with mutton chops on Roseanne before his upgrade to heartthrob status...

I'm just going to say that I would have to be a magic-wielder of some kind. That's my main in any fantasy game I play, even when the magic-users suck...

If this does happen, I'll be a Dalish female rogue, I always liked the rogue class in the game.
And yes, I'll be wearing the Dalish armor. I figure I'd give you mouth-breathers time to get it out of your systems.

I've got two in mind myself, either a relentlessly cheerful dwarven female warrior or a human noble warrior.
