HISTORY:
Kyle grew up the eldest of 5 boys with his mother. His father not being around much as he was a Captain in the Alliance Navy. When Kyle hit his mid teens, he was tested and it was discovered that he had latent biotic abilities. He was then sent to Jump Point Zero to hone and train his abilities. After graduating in the top 10 of his class he placed quickly into his squad aboard a ship in the 7th Fleet.
His final mission with the Alliance was while he and his squad were responding to a distress call of a small colony on the fringe near the Terminus Systems and were ambushed by the Blood Pack mercenary group consisted of four heavily armed Krogan and twice as many Vorcha. In the ensuing firefight Kyle came face to face with one of the Krogan, having interrupted said Krogan's attempt at killing Kyle's squad leader. Though
Kyle was exhausted from exerting his biotics to give support to the team where he could, he managed to kill the Krogan but not before he nearly crushed Kyle's head inside of his own helmet.
When Kyle awoke later, he found himself in an Alliance infirmary. His injuries weren't severe, however his L2 biotic implant was critically damaged, making use of his biotics impossible and as such was issued an honorable medical discharge from service. Later however, he was approached by an individual claiming to work for a private security firm. He claimed his employers had looked over his record and were impressed. The offer was that if Kyle agreed to work for them his employers would give him a new implant that would allow him access to his biotics. Despite the risks, Kyle agreed. However due to the danger of the procedure, while the L2 implant was repaired during the procedure, it was not removed but made inert and a L5 impant was installed, greatly improving Kyle's biotic potential.
